AN HONOR WE DON’T TAKE LIGHTLY
We’re proud to be named a Graphis Master
Christmas has come early for our team at Traction Factory.
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been honored with a platinum award in the Graphis Advertising Annual 2018 for “2 Minutes,” a poster promoting the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter’s 2017 Kentucky Derby Party. “2 Minutes” was selected amongst nearly 300 international winners.
“We’ve been partners with Traction Factory for over eight years, and their level of driven, proven and now award-winning success is what we’ve come to depend on them for,” said Melanie Roach-Bekos, Executive Director, ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter.
Our team designed an emotive poster exposing the viewer to the insight that patients diagnosed with ALS are in a race for their lives — while also raising awareness of the disease and increasing attendance for the 2nd Annual Kentucky Derby Party.
In addition to the platinum award for “2 Minutes”, our work for the ALS Association Wisconsin Chapter was recognized by Graphis with three silver awards: “Rockin’ for a Cure” (Ryan Carter, Art Director); “Hal’s Toast to Hope” (Mark Brautigram, Senior Art Director); and “Walk to Defeat” (Brent Goral, Senior Art Director). Another project, “I am ALS” (Peter Bell, Art Director), received a Graphis award of merit.
“This certainly has been a stellar year for our teams,” said Scott Bucher, Traction Factory president. “For Peter to be recognized with a Graphis platinum award speaks to the world-class work he is leading and our creative teams are executing. This is a big achievement for us and the Milwaukee advertising community and I couldn’t be more proud of our staff for their continued hard work and commitment to delivering the most innovative and internationally recognized creative for our clients.”
